Lewis Merkin Memorial Fund

 In honor of CDI Lewis Merkin who passed away in March 2022, NYC Metro RID presents the Lewis Merkin Memorial Fund (LMMF).  This provides a scholarship to Deaf Metro RID members of $500 towards RID membership and the CDI exam. The funds will be a  reimbursement awarded after registration proof is submitted. 

If no applicants apply by June 30 annually the funds will roll over into the next year. More than one applicant may be considered depending on funds available. Applications are taken year round. Members are welcome to donate towards this fund.
